REAL-TIME SUCTION PRESSURE MODULATION

Introducing the world’s first Intelligent Fluid Transfer Pump™ Technology

AIRO is the first suction unit designed to remove fluid, not air.

This preserves critical oxygen levels in airway emergencies. Simulation environments indicate that AIRO helps maintain hypopharyngeal oxygen concentration (HOC) by removing up to 40x less air than traditional vacuum-based suction devices. This feature is especially critical for SALAD procedures, where prolonged suctioning can contribute to oxygen desaturation.

preventing aspiration is the goal

AIRO’s patented core technology measures and modulates suction pressure in real-time—up to 1,000 times per second—to precisely manage fluid removal. This revolutionary sampling and control system delivers highly consistent suction levels while minimizing unwanted air removal.

No desaturation

Traditional suction devices make suction by removing air, and can pull up to 40 LPM of air from the hypopharynx during procedures. AIRO is designed with Low-Flow, High-Vacuum technology to preserve oxygen levels in the airway while removing fluids, achieving the same 550 mmHg of vacuum pressure as competitors while removing only 0.75 LPM of air.

Optimized for salad

Suction Assisted Laryngoscopy & Airway Decontamination (SALAD) has become the gold standard for emergent intubations and often involves extended suction times. AIRO’s Low-Flow, High-Vaccuum technology makes prolonged suctioning safer.
